Sept Nottingham Site/Fall Council Meeting Event
Time & Location
About the Event
Details for this event:
We are cleared by site manager to camp overnight on Saturday night, providing we continue to follow social distancing guidelines.
Fall Council Meeting will be at 3pm onsite.
This is the perfect time to come out and see the site if you haven't been there yet, or in a while.
This may be our last time there depending on when the local hunting season starts. We have been told we should plan for downed trees/branches (which we were hoping for so that we could weed out the weak ones while we were not there).
Some gravel has been delivered on site. This will be needed so we can be code/ordinance compliant on the access road. We will need a thin layer along the portion of Access Road before she can put down the Asphalt Millings she has already acquired.
Per Site Manager, her Backhoe is currently waiting for a repair (just broke Sunday) so she recommends that we continue to "focus on the woods" and we try to address this later.
She did remind us again that she claims there was definately some "tree and branch" damage so we should plan on chainsawing.
The plan is currently to try to have Death and Taxes there in April. That being the case we will plan an "Early Spring Nottingham Day" to prep the site for Inaugural Use.The goal is to use this site (at least in Some Capacity) this Spring.
Added step. Site Mgr has asked us to keep eyes out for Lantern Flies. She has been killing them and will provide a spray for us to help if we come a cross any while working.
